EaseMD Billing Services
EaseMD provides computerized claims and billing services to physician practices and healthcare providers, of all sizes.
EaseMD will process your billing using the Practice Friendly method and not the old way, as used by other billing companies. The Practice Friendly method gives unlimited access to all your claims/financial information via your eClinicalWorks account and your clearinghouse. Your data is in your control, in your practice.
Using the old way method of billing, the outside billing company has your data on their server and you have to “ask” them every time you want something extra.
EaseMD will undertake the necessary actions to accurately bill and maintain all designated patient records. These responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Post charges to accounts.
- Post payments to accounts.
- Print or send (or email) patient statements monthly.
- Work outstanding insurance AR.
- Follow up with insurance companies as required.
- Review denied claims and correct at source.
- Send out past due notices and monitor aged trail balances.
- Answer patient questions regarding account balances.
Billing Services Method of Payment
The Billing Service Agreement can be implemented using one of several different methods:
- Typical “Percent of Collected.” This is determined by your specialty, patient volume and length of contract.
- Billing Bundle: Using this, an eClinicalWorks license can be purchased with no upfront costs. The license costs can simply be rolled into the billing services “percent collected” agreement.
