Randal B. Farr, Partner

Randal (Randy) is a founder and partner of EaseMD Systems. Previously Mr. Farr had positions primarily in technology and physician practice management. Before EaseMD Mr. Farr was Vice President of Eastern Operations for Vivra Asthma & Allergy, a physician practice management company specializing in asthma & allergy practices. He had worked extensively with physicians to improve efficiency, workflow and profitability. Based on this experience, Mr. Farr saw an opportunity in applying software technology to physician practices to help physicians realize greater workflow efficiencies and a better bottom line; that was the birth of EaseMD.

Previous to Vivra, Mr. Farr co-founded and was Chief Operating Officer for Vanderbilt Health Plans and Health 1-2-3 health plan. Mr. Farr also spent time as a consultant with Boston-based Bain & Company, and Monitor Company. Mr. Farr received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.B.A. from Brigham Young University. Mr. Farr trains and competes in triathlon and participates in other outdoor activities. Mr. Farr originally hails from the San Francisco bay area, and has a wife and three children.

Bruce W. LeFew, Partner

Bruce LeFew is partner and an original member of the EaseMD Systems team. Mr. LeFew brings to EaseMD Systems over 20 years of experience in healthcare ranging from hospital to ambulatory services. Over that period in the healthcare arena, he has developed new business, managed operations and built outpatient care facilities. Previous positions were held in hospital and healthcare organizations throughout the states of Maryland, Louisiana and Tennessee.

From these experiences, Mr. LeFew has learned the value and importance of always maintaining good customer service and support. With this knowledge and experience, Mr. LeFew brings to EaseMD Systems successful methods and business procedures. These focus on helping EaseMD’s customers better develop efficient and cost-effective operations. This is accomplished using up-to-date technology and resources. With a M.S. in exercise physiology from Kent State University, Ohio, he should know how to stay in shape and also enjoys the outdoor activities of backpacking and hiking throughout Tennessee’s mountains. Mr LeFew and his family (wife and two daughters) reside in Franklin TN and are originally from the Maryland/Virginia area.

Gretchen Hoffman, Director of Client Services

Prior to EaseMD, Mrs. Hoffman served as Administrator for the Center for Urological Treatment, a physician group based in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Hoffman has worked in Medical Administration for many years and has experience in both workflow and financial management. Prior to working in the medical field, Mrs. Hoffman was a Jr. High School teacher.

Mrs. Hoffman attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN and received her B.A. from Middle Tennessee State University, in Murfreesboro, TN. Mrs. Hoffman holds her degree in History, Political Science, and Education. Mrs. Hoffman is an avid reader and enjoys all genres of literature. Mrs. Hoffman is married with two children.
