Here's how it works:

  1. The physician takes our digital pen and a clipboard with a sufficient number of Fusion Forms. A digital form is a paper form with an underlying micro-dot pattern. Each form has a unique micro-dot pattern specific to that page.
  2. You use EaseMD’s Digital Pen to fill in and complete the form just as you would with any other form.
  3. While writing, the digital pen’s optical reader is capturing the coded information from the underlying micro-dot pattern.
  4. At the end of the day (or week), you return the form and pen to the office.
  5. An office staff person docks the pen and shreds the paper digital form.
  6. On-screen software allows the staff to correct any reading errors.
  7. With a click of a button, the patient information is loaded into the EMR for permanent, accurate keeping.
